Jason Koshman
Jason is a 1992 graduate of the University of British Columbia Law School. He started his legal career with a large downtown Vancouver law firm with a practice focused on labour and employment matters. He was ultimately lured away from private practice by the corporate world and has worked a variety of senior management and in-house legal positions for large provincial and multi-national organizations. This has included acting as general counsel for a 73 member company employer organization, and holding management and operational roles within one of North America’s largest energy companies.
His broad based experience brings a real world approach to the legal problems faced by his clients and unique insight into how to solve them. He has significant experience and expertise in Administrative Law and tribunal adjudication.
His litigation practice at Acumen includes Labour and Employment, ICBC Accident Injury Claims, Administrative Law including IRPs, Alternate Dispute Resolution and Criminal Defense. He also offers collective bargaining services and a variety of training programs for employers and employees.
