After earning his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Alberta in 1996 and his LL.B. in 1999, Paul launched his legal career in Vancouver before founding Acumen Law Corporation in 2008. He has completed police training for Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and Drug Recognition Evaluations in accordance with NHTSA guidelines, and maintains an extensive personal collection of police breath-testing and drug-analysis equipment.
